Major works of renovation and replanting in the vineyard were then undertaken. In 1972, Alain bought 6 hectares of vines in Montagne and it was in 1986 that his son Franck DESPAGNE joined the operations. Thus a new story with new perspectives began&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Franck rented 6 acres of top Bordeaux (Chateau Bellevue Lapourcaud), and in 1988, 5 hectares of vines in Lussac Saint-Emilion (Chateau Jamard Belcour). In 1992, Alain and Franck created the SCEV DESPAGNE &amp; SON. In 1999 they acquired 6 acres from the Chateau Bellevue Lapourcaud.
